The Villu fever is soon catching up as the release date is nearing. Only 2 days for the release of one of Vijay’s most stylish movies till date. It is termed to be a James Bond like movie also to bring out a positive vibe among the viewers.

The Villu team, Ilayathalapathy Vijay, Director, Prabhu Deva, Ayngaran Executive Producers Arun Pandiyan and Karunamoorthy, Music Director Devi Sri Prasad along with the technicians of the film organized a Press Meet at the Hotel Green Park.

Villu is the second Tamil film directed by Prabhu Deva and incidentally his second with Vijay too after the massive Pokkiri. Prabhu Deva is very happy on the outcome of the movie and says that each and every technician in the unit have worked hard for the outcome of the movie. He was praising Cameraman Ravi Varman and Devi Sri Prasad for their awesome work and dedication for the movie. He said that Ravi Varman has done a good job in portraying their dreams on the screen effectively. Also he added that Devi Sri Prasad has given him a great music and the re-recording is really awesome. The last 25 minutes of the movie is where the re-recording is at its best. Devi Sri Prasad has done 10 times more work than the usual.

He also said that he used to ask Vijay if he was over working him for the movie and Vijay would humbly reply, “No problem na, I will anything for the movie.” He praised Vijay for his stunts in the movie and also the hard work and dedication he shows towards his job. On the heroine Nayanthara he said that she was all supportive throughout the movie. Prabhu Deva admitted that there are no punch dialogues in the movie but the dialogues in the movie will fall like punches.

Director turned actor and now into producer Arun Pandiyan has said that all the money he spent on the movie can be seen on screen and is very happy about the outcome of the movie. He said the Villu is like a Indian Jones or James Bond movie made in Tamil.

Ravi Varman says, “Vijay and Prabhu Deva are energetic people and is very good to work with. If we can compare a technically strong movie with Hollywood standards then am proud to say that Villu is on par with Hollywood standards.”

On Villu Devi Sri Prasad says, “Prabhu Deva is my favourite Director and Vijay is a great dancing Hero. The production team is very supportive and am happy to be part of such a team. The visualizations for the songs composed me are mind blowing and am sure that Vijay and Prabhu Deva has done justice to their job.”

Finally, it was the time for the Star of the day and also for the movie to talk about his Villu. “Prabhu Deva said the movie is racy which I could not notice till I saw the first copy of the movie. It will surely be a visual treat for all as the movie is shot on land, train, ships and even flights. The movie has been made in a very grand manner and will be one of the costliest films in my career.” Vijay had nicknamed Prabhu Deva as Magic Man during the movie. He was all praises for Ravi Varman and said that he has shown the handsome side of Vijay. He said, “If I look better than my previous movie then I owe it to Ravi.” On Devi Sri Prasad he said, “He done a good job in providing good music which are sure to be chartbusters. His re-recording has given life to each and every scene of the movie and is on par with the work of Ilayaraja sir.” Vijay wished the Villu should have been his 50^th movie and said that he will surely concentrate on the script like any other movie before selecting on the movie.” He also said that Nayanthara was co-operative and worked hard for the movie.

Villu is set to release on 12^th of this month and it is time for us to say ‘Come on come on Karo Jalsa..!!!’
